Jones, Meserve, Esponette shine at Triple Crown finale

Jaron Jones won the L-A Bridge Run with a time of 16:24 and Tina Meserve not only topped the ladies in the Triple Crown finale with a 19:04 effort, but earned the overall Triple Crown women’s title with a combined time of 57:59. Thomas Esponette, who placed nine seconds behind Jones in the Bridge Run, bested the men in the three-race series with a 49:15 total. A Bridge Run record 659 registered for the event.
